What does completion mean here?

Cumulative completion for this phase, from 0 to 100, using the basis in your agreement—not just this month’s progress. Agreed phase fee × completion gives cumulative phase value. Subtract previous invoices to get the current fixed-fee amount.

What if previous invoices exceed cumulative value?

The negative fixed-fee amount stays visible with a review message. Export and print are disabled until resolved. A credit or agreement change needs separate handling.

Can I calculate multiple phases?

This tool handles one phase plus one hourly line. The invoice workbook has space for several phase and hourly lines, source references and row checks.

Are my inputs saved or sent?

The calculator runs in this page and does not save or send project names or amounts. Export CSV or print to retain the result. Reloading restores the fictional North House example.

How does rounding work?

Amounts round to the nearest cent, half up. The current total sums the rounded fixed-fee and hourly amounts. The result excludes taxes, retainers, expenses and credits. Review your agreement and billing records before preparing an invoice.
