Proposals are written section by section, sent to a client contact, and shared through a secure link that needs no account to open.
Creating and sending a proposal
- Go to Proposals → New proposal.
- Pick the client, set the amount and valid-until date, and choose a template for its accent color and footer note.
- Add sections by writing them or inserting one from the Library of reusable sections.
- Click Send proposal, or Download PDF to send it yourself.
| Proposal status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being written. |
| Sent | Issued to the client. |
| Viewed | The client has opened the link. |
| Accepted | The client accepted. |
| Declined | The client declined; their reason is recorded if given. |
| Expired | Passed its valid-until date. |
| Archived | Closed out and removed from active views. |
What is recorded
Rizqo records when the proposal was sent, when it was first opened, and when it was accepted or declined, along with the responding address and browser. A decline can carry a written reason.
On the shared link, the client can download a PDF and click Accept proposal or Decline proposal, each with a confirmation step.
After acceptance
When a proposal is accepted, managers and admins are offered the option to create a project from it. The project opens prefilled with the proposal's title, its client and its value. Phases, tasks and invoices are set up separately.
Changing status or deleting a proposal
Use Change status on the proposal to move it between statuses directly, including to Archived once it is no longer active. Delete removes it entirely, with a confirmation step.
